Winters Run Farm was originally a thoroughbred breeding farm before changing ownership in the mid-1900’s. We plan to return it to its roots as an equestrian facility.
We have an incredible opportunity to start from scratch and build the farm into a welcoming venue for a wide variety of riders.
Five-Year Vision for Winters Run Farm

2026-2027
Construction
We will be focusing first on building equine facilities that can be visited in day trips: indoor arena, outdoor arena, and well-maintained trails.
It takes multiple years to grow a beautiful pasture that can handle grazing and provide hay for the winter.
2027-2028
Trainer Community
In 2027-2028 we will be offering trailer-in options: indoor and outdoor arenas, clinics, trails, and a jump course.
Our focus will be on establishing partnerships with one or more local horse professionals to offer well-maintained boarding and training facilities for their clients.

2029+
Boarding
We plan to open our barn to boarders in mid 2028 / early 2029. We will have full care and field board options for approximately 80 horses.
We look forward to hosting a thriving, active, group of amateur riders on the property. We expect to have daily groups going out on trail rides and a variety of disciplines including Working Equitation (including cattle work), Dressage, Eventing, and Hunter-Jumper.
This will be a farm where you can develop friendships as you deepen your relationship with your equine partner.
Owner’s Statement
As the owner of Winters Run Farm, my goal is to host an active and diverse group of amateur riders taking lessons, going on trail rides, and building deep bonds with their equestrian partners. – Amira Armond
2029+ Cattle Clinics
We will have cattle facilities to support the growing (and exciting!) sport of Working Equitation.
2029+ Horse Camping
We will have a cozy parking area dedicated to trailer-in horse camping for folks who want to explore our trails for the weekend.
2029+ Outdoor Jump Course
We will maintain several acres of jumps and water features appropriate for eventing and hunter-jumper practice
